In the Krog District, the Calendar Is Outlasting the Tenants

October 8, 2026

Since March, the Krog District has had a new occupant in its largest bar, a new stall in Krog Street Market, a new brand on its most visible retail corner, and a closed margarita bar on Auburn Avenue. The biggest of those spaces is still on a lease that ends in December. A replacement that was supposed to open this fall still has no date. The routine that has held steady through all of it is a short list of recurring, mostly free events that the district hosts every week.

If you walk to Krog Street from Inman Park, you've seen the signs change. This post looks at which changes are settled, which are still provisional, and how to plan a fall week around the parts that hold still.

Who moved in, and on what terms

Charlotte-based Asana Partners finished The Krog District in early 2023, replacing a gravel lot and a group of industrial buildings with retail, office, and parking around Krog Street Market. Three years in, 2026 has been the district's busiest year for turnover.

Space Before Now Terms or timing
112 Krog St NE BrewDog, which left abruptly in March LikeMinds Pop-up, extended through the end of 2026
Krog Street Market, next to Superica Bar Mercado Nando's PERi-PERi Grand opening Tuesday, June 9
Lake Ave and Krog St corner Outdoor Voices YETI Grand opening weekend June 18 to 21
SPX Alley, 661 Auburn Ave NE Guac y Margys, closed June 28 Eggslut Still listed as "Opening Soon!"

Two of these four changes are settled. Nando's and YETI have opened, and both brands came in to stay. The other two are where the uncertainty is.

The district's biggest room is still a pop-up

When LikeMinds took over the former BrewDog space in June, Urbanize Atlanta reported that it would use all 14,700 square feet, patios included, on a lease running through the end of the year. The operators planned to decide around the 120-day mark whether to keep going. The concept comes from Kelly Campbell of Westside Motor Lounge.

The decision came early. Adventures in Atlanta reported on August 22 that, after a strong opening and a packed World Cup run, LikeMinds had extended through the end of 2026 and was settling in as a fall sports bar. Nothing has been announced about 2027. As of early October, the largest venue in the district is confirmed for about three more months.

For those three months, here's what LikeMinds is offering:

  • A 16-by-9-foot screen, which the venue calls the largest along the Beltline's Eastside Trail, showing Atlanta United, SEC football, the Falcons, and the World Series with full sound.
  • DJ Skooter on Fridays, plus rotating DJs during Saturday brunch.
  • Funk Brunch on Saturdays and Sundays, with barbecue plates, Cinna Guys cinnamon rolls, and the $12 Hollar biscuit with bourbon maple sausage and house peach jam. The August report lists brunch hours as noon to 4 p.m., but LikeMinds' own site says noon to 5 p.m., so check before you go late.
  • Monday Service Industry Night with ATL Shuck Boyz from 5 to 10 p.m., with oysters shucked to order and Blue Crab Pimento Cheese Dip.
  • The Turn at LikeMinds, a golf simulator lounge, plus billiards and bar games. The expanded menu includes appetizers from Chef Julian Hower of Phoe Cue.

Posted hours are 4 to 10 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, 4 p.m. to midnight Thursday and Friday, noon to midnight Saturday, and noon to 10 p.m. Sunday.

The Auburn Avenue side is also between tenants

The SPX Alley row along Auburn Avenue has its own gap. Guac y Margys closed its 661 Auburn Ave location after its last day of service on June 28. Eggslut's second Atlanta location is planned for a space facing the Eastside Trail next to Woof Gang, and in June the plan was a fall opening. As of this writing, the district's Eggslut page still says "Opening Soon!" with no date.

PopUp Bagels lists a Krog location at 661 Auburn Ave NE on its own location finder, with posted hours of 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Sunday and an online order link. The same listing also shows the shop as "Closed," so check its status before you plan a morning around it.

One more building is up in the air. In July, Urbanize reported that the 5,400-square-foot building at 116 Krog St, just up the street from LikeMinds, was for sale again. Adaptive reuse, retail, a bar, a restaurant, a brewery, or an entertainment venue were all mentioned as possibilities, and no project has been confirmed.

So at the end of 2026, the full BrewDog footprint, an Eggslut opening without a date, and the building at 116 Krog all have unsettled futures. That's a lot of open questions for a few blocks of Krog Street.

What happens every week

Against all that turnover, the district's recurring programming has stayed on a regular schedule. These events don't depend on any one tenant, and most are free.

  1. Monday: Service Industry Night at LikeMinds, 5 to 10 p.m.
  2. Tuesday, 6:30 p.m.: The Adidas Runners Atlanta weekly meetup in the Atlanta Stove Works breezeway.
  3. Tuesday, 7 p.m.: Free trivia hosted by Dirty South Trivia. The most recent listed date was September 29, from 7 to 9 p.m.
  4. Every other Thursday, 7 to 9 p.m.: Free Jazz Nights inside Krog Street Market with local combos. The series moved to Thursdays starting September 3, and the latest posted date was October 1. If the every-other-week pattern holds, the next ones would be October 15 and October 29, but those dates haven't been posted yet.
  5. Friday: DJ Skooter at LikeMinds.
  6. Saturday and Sunday: Funk Brunch at LikeMinds.
  7. Sunday, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.: The Barks & Bites Beltline Doggie Crawl leaves from Krog Street Market at 99 Krog St NE. It costs $69 and runs every Sunday through November 8.

The two oldest items on this list are the Tuesday trivia and the free jazz series. Visitor listings for Krog Street Market describe both as part of what the market offers, not as add-ons. The Doggie Crawl has a firm end date. Counting today, six Sundays are left, and the last is November 8.

The rest of the fall calendar is still blank

The 2026 Halloween and holiday events haven't been announced yet. The district's event pages that come up now are from last year. In 2025, The Krog District held a Trick-Or-Treat on Thursday, October 23, Halloween Trivia on Wednesday, October 29, and a Holiday Market and Holiday Movie Night on Saturday, December 13. Those dates are a guide to what to watch for, not a schedule. The Krog District events page is where new dates will show up first.

The Stove Works Supply vintage and handmade market on September 26 shows that one-off weekend markets still happen in the Atlanta Stove Works building. The district hasn't announced any changes to the Stove Works tenants.

What stays put in December

Several things are no longer temporary. Nando's has its stall inside the market, YETI has the corner at Lake and Krog, and the current directory still lists long-running market vendors like Fred's Meat & Bread, Gu's Dumplings, Superica, Ticonderoga Club, and Jeni's. On the retail side, Patagonia, Specialized, Woof Gang, and Freedom Barber Co. all remain on the directory.

Three things will need answers by the end of the year: whether LikeMinds signs on for 2027, when Eggslut opens, and who buys 116 Krog St. Until then, the most reliable plans for a fall week are trivia on Tuesday at 7, jazz on alternating Thursdays, and the dog crawl on Sundays through November 8.

At Werner Homes Collective, we watch changes on blocks like Krog Street closely because they shape what daily life near the Beltline looks like a year from now. If you'd like to talk through what this kind of turnover could mean for your Inman Park home, we're happy to schedule a free consultation.
